Evil weather outside... eeeevil...

Not snowy any more, just freezing rain that makes eeeverything black and dingy.

And yes, we nuts are indeed going to head out there so I can pick up my comics! Well as soon as mum gets back anyhow.

In the end we decided not to go to the city... I still want my comics, but not enough to brave this weather and Dekie wasn't feeling so hot so the day has been spent at home as I pull together a load of the prep-stuff for tomorrow. Stuffing and sauce-bases are done. Bird's about to be marinaded, veggies need to be peeled, starters are defrosting for an oven-baked heat-through, sausages need to be wrapped and bacon needs to be rolled, and generally it's all coming together for what will hopefully be a nice, smooth dinner.

*sighs lazily*

When I'm rich... I'm getting a dining room and a dinner table big enough to seat 14 people comfortably, rather than squeezing them all in and oozing out into the kitchen...

Though we're only 11 this year so it probably won't be so bad...
