Actually, I have no interesting thing to share with you this morning, mostly becase I've only just crawled from the primordial ooze that I call 'Bed' and now I have to go out and do that work-like... thing. Otherwise known as go and see the g-ma and hope she's not in a psycho mood. She was grumpy yesterday cause she couldn't work out how to make her e-mail function and I have NO idea what's wrong with it beyond being old and insane (She's still trying -and failing- to run Netscape Communicator 4.7 for fuck's sake, it's not that much of a shock that it crashes every time it tries to load an adbanner)
But I can't set up her mail to another browser because I don't know any of her details and hell if she can tell me. Not that she'd know how to work another browser of course...

crabby old people... crazy and insane.

Have to go now. Am running late.

**screams, runs in and dives directly under a pile of muses**

Fuck. Me. It's cold out there.

Also, the council are digging up the pathway between my house and the g-ma's which means I now have to walk three times as far to get there. The little connector short-cut between estates is literally only 20 foot long, but they've dug a bloody big hole where it used to be (renewing water pipes) so instead of walking up the path and cutting across, (takes 5 minutes) I now have to go round the side, up down, right, right again and all the way up her road on that flamin' hill. (closer to a quarter of an hour)

Which, you know, from a cardiovascular standpoint is a good thing, but from an OMG I'm freezing my fucking ass off standpoint it's, you know, really not so hot.
In fact it's quite spectacularly cold. Which brings me back to my initial point of radiator-hugging and attempting to defrost.

If it rains today it will, most likely, be sleet.
Possibly snow.

In a perfect world I would be going to the city tomorrow but this is not a perfect world and I may instead just go to town and buy some new gloves and then come home and cuddle a Wolvie for warmth.

Yes, that sounds like a good idea...technically I have stuff in my box I should pick up but *eh* fuck it. It can wait a week. There's no special-orders or limiteds that may not appear, so it's all good as far as I'm concerned.

*snuggles up close and sticks her cold hands up Hugh's shirt*

*runs back in and dives back under the muses... again*

Had to go back out and help Kat coral a runaway chicken.
Well, not so much runaway, a fox killed Fred and Ginger this morning so we needed to try and herd Latifah into the rabbit-hutch by the back door where she's slightly less likely to be eaten.
Latifah was not so keen on this idea. Hence much running around with a sheet and broomstick.

*is now defrosting all over again*

The hutch is a little small for her though so I think we'll be back to letting her out for the majority of the day and then putting her to bed again as soon as the sun goes down.

Damn fox.

Damn cold weather.

Damn I need hot cocoa mocca and a huge bowl of soup.
Mmmm soup...

Just grabbed this from Yahoo news but here, read:

England and Wales are braced for snowfalls over the next two days with parts of Scotland already experiencing the wintry weather. Roads were closed and schoolchildren sent home in the north of Scotland after blizzards brought the first heavy snowfall of the winter.

Four hillwalkers had to be rescued after they got stranded in heavy blizzards on the plateau of Ben Macdui in the Cairngorm mountain range.

An RAF helicopter from Lossiemouth and four mountain rescue teams were involved in the rescue operation at the mountain, which is notorious for its atrocious weather conditions.

Question- Who in their right fucking MIND climbs the Cairgorms in NOVEMBER?
And secondly, who in their right fucking MIND climbs a mountain notorious for its bad weather IN November WITH a snow-warning that had been active since the start of the week...?

*facepalms*

Also, LJ did SO well yesterday delivering comments to me and now it seems it's broken again.
*heavy sigh*

Soup. Yes, let's go have soup. Mmm, soup...

Mmmmmsoup...

There is something about soup that makes it always better for having spent the night sitting on the stove, just sort of... brewing.

It was ok yesterday. It's FABULOUS today.

I am now overstuffed and about to pop, but only in the good way.

And now- back to that moodtheme. 105 down, 27 left to go.
...I think. Something like that anyhow.

Six left... Chipper, Cold, Depressed, Giddy, Happy and Sad.

And you may be asking why it's taken this long to find an image for something as potentially easy as "happy"... don't ask. Call it OCD or something, but there's a difference between "smiling for the camera" and "actually happy" and the latter is proving slightly more elusive. Though it will not escape me. No!

(I'm quite pleased with 'sympathetic' though... he's so gosh darned cute sometimes...)

I may leave it till tomorrow though because I have a headache like woah coming on- combination central heating and a day in front of the screen.

But if anyone can find Hugh-as-Hugh looking cold and/or depressed and/or sad that would be groovy... interview screencaps are fine so long as they're not too fuzzy.

Parental units have gone to buy me a new monitor for the Christmas/birthday spnky new 'puter. It'll be bigger and stuff and it's all very exciting. *bounces at you*

Dear Mr Jackman,
Cut )

Ooh, the parents are back...

OK, I am down to cold, depressed and sad.

There's one I'd use for cold but it's a stage-door photo and I have no idea who took it. Don't wanna' filch someone's personal pics for a moodtheme really, at least not without asking... so I shall continue my hunt.

Depressed and sad, however, are proving problematic.

Suggestions?

*looks hopeful*
