Felt a lot better when I got up this morning (yey!) though I still feel slightly as if my head is floating 6" to the left of where it's supposed to be.
Gonna' call the g-ma and claim a day off, I think. If only because the congested goop has decided to make a bee-line for my ears and that doesn't assist too well with the cotton-head, lack-of-balance. Also it's very, very annoying.

In other news, Serenity has swallowed a big chunk of my flist. And I still don't care.

Jackman, Bale eye roles in 'Prestige' pic
Nolan-helmed film to start shooting in January

By MICHAEL FLEMING, DAVID S. COHEN

Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale are in negotiations to star in helmer Christopher Nolan's thriller "The Prestige" for Touchstone Pictures and Warner Bros.
"Batman Begins" helmer Nolan has committed to make the long-gestating pic as his next film (Daily Variety, April 17, 2003). Shooting is likely to start in January.

Story, which begins in 1878, follows the rivalry between two stage magicians who battle one another for trade secrets. The rivalry turns them both into murderers. Jonathan Nolan adapted the screenplay from the novel by Christopher Priest.

Both Nolans have been working together on the script in recent months.

Christopher Nolan is producing, along with his wife, Emma Thomas, and Ray Gun Productions' Aaron Ryder.

Newmarket Films optioned the book and developed the script. Newmarket's Chris Ball and William Tyrer are executive producers.

Kristen Burr oversees for Disney.

Mouse has domestic rights on the pic and is overseeing development and production. Warner Bros. has international rights.

Jackman plans to make "The Prestige" his next movie after he finishes shooting "X3," the third installment of the "X-Men" franchise. Jackman recently completed the Darren Aronofsky-directed "The Fountain" and Woody Allen's untitled new film.

Bale, who starred for Nolan as the Caped Crusader in "Batman Begins," will next be seen in the Terrence Malick-directed "The New World" and the David Ayer-helmed "Harsh Times." He is now in Thailand shooting "Rescue Dawn" for director Werner Herzog.

Date in print: Mon., Oct. 3, 2005, Gotham

So there you go. It's not a definite yet, not by a long-shot if they're still negotiating, but I do have one thing to say on the matter...

OMGhistoricalcostumefetish! *geekgasms*

So it seems like everyone on my flist right now is either ill, exhausted, or both.

And I have a headache. And I want some coke. And if my head would stop fucking spinning it'd be great.

So I had this nice, luxurious, lovely hot bath, and the steam did quite a nice job of clearing out at least some of my goop even if it was only temporary and I was feeling pretty good... until I got up. Wherein for whatever reason the universe shifted diagonally a little bit and I thought I was almost, maybe, just on the edge of passing out.

Didn't, however, and a little sit down and a nice cold drink had me back to normal in no time, but yeah... odd, random, not overly fun. Am thinking perhaps my penchant for hot baths was, possibly, a little too hot.

Moof.

Leave a comment and...

1. I'll respond with something random about you.
2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3. I'll pick a flavor of jelly to wrestle with you in.
4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me (hopefully).
5. I'll tell you my first memory of you.
6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.
7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.
8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal. You MUST. It is written on the toilet walls.
