Monday... uhhhhh... *eh* I got nothin'. Boring day mostly involving laundry, laundry, laundry and making soup.

*is teh queen of all excitement*

Fuck, I'm bored (and as a consequence, lethargic). Someone do something exciting? Pretty please?

*puts in another load of laundry*

*stirs soup*

Sweartagod, that really is all I've done today. Laundry and soup, soup and laundry. If I get really carried away I'll actually put the laundry into the wardrobe instead of onto the floor in front of the wardrobe. And if I'm super super dooper enthusiastic, I might even change the bedsheets... thus making more laundry!

*kills self*

*ugh* Roll on excitement...

So, it's 7pm, all the laundry is done (But not put away... still working on the effort involved in that task) and I'm now incredibly full of soup.

Yeah, that's it, this really was pretty much the most pointless day of posts ever. ;)

May have to think up a random and pointless poll to pass the time with. Maybe after I've put the laundry away, changed the bed and emptied the bin.

Maybe.

What I want to know is how come the whole freakin' day can get sucked so easily into a relentless blur of the most basic of household tasks.

*sigh*

Domesticity is not my forte. I need a maid or something. Maybe a wife...

Maybe Hugh in just a little lace pinny and absolutely nothing else...

Thing I greatly appreciate:

Creased-look shirts (For best maintenance of creasing, should be stored twisted up in a ball at the bottom of a drawer... and unlike for the rest of my laundry, this is actually a good thing.)

Thing I still do not appreciate:

Finishing all the laundry (and actually putting it away) then realising you don't just have one bed to change but three because you had visitors, and therefore making a whole extra two loads of sheets and stuff.

Bah. Humbug.

Thing I have learned:

Buying clothes you like is good. Trying to put them away when you have absolutely no closet space left and are already spilling into other people's closets is very, very bad...

Conclusion?

Need to redecorate bedroom, preferably with bigger wardrobe.

Random Poll!

There's just too much housework for one fangirl to tackle alone. It's seriously eating into that SQUEEEE-ing time. What you need is some help around the house, but who and where?

You could have a Handyman in Wace. He can fix cars and put up shelves and can work absolute magic with his big solid wrench... but just don't ask him to wash up or clean out the fridge; He'll only clean it out of beer cans, but hey, at least he'd look really hot while doing so.

Leopold could make a wonderful and attentive buttler, servicing you in any way you desired... he's just not too good at taking orders so he might require a bit of persuasion now and then. Which isn't neccessarily a bad thing but does mean it can sometimes take two or three hours for him to get around to answering the door...

Eddie could take a turn as the scullery-maid, clad in a wet little white lace pinny and a whole lot of soapy bubbles. And absolutely nothing else. (...there is SO no down-side to this scenario.)

You could maybe get an eyeful of Kevin's ass as he leans over to make the beds for you, but you need to exercise caution. He's a little bitter at times, but I'm sure some time spent bouncing the mattress to check the spring-work would sweeten him up no end!

Security is important so how about Snr Detective Eric as your handcuff-weilding boy in blue. Exactly who feels the grip of those handcuffs though... well that depends on who's been the naughtiest.

It's so important to look good these days, so you'd do well to have Logan as your personal trainer. He'd help you work up a sweat with all that tackling and grappling and rolling about on the mats. He might even help you warm down when you're done. I gather he's equally attentive in the showers afterwards...

[Poll #564915]

Waaaa-aahh-haa-aaah... fucking mouse...

Spam brought in a live mouse. Usually I leave the catten to do as she pleases in regard to small animals and such as she normally takes them outside to kill after showing them off. Fair enough. But Kat decided to try and save the mouse... Kat was not fast enough. Mouse escaped. Mouse is somewhere in house. Now cannot find mouse. This is generally... not good.

Hm.

Like spiders really, I prefer mice on the opposite side of a plexiglass tank, or otherwise outdoors in their more rustic natural habitats...

I'm going to be very pissed if it starts shredding laundry or anything. :/
