So, the bean-pod and I took a wander into town. She needed to buy stuff and develop some photos and I... well... I had nothing better to do so I tagged along.
In the end we succumbed to the lure of KFC, only 24 hours later than initially desired but it was ooooh-oooooh, gooood...
Can't let the bean go hungry for greasy, deep-fried, chicken-flavour lumps of meat now can we...?
Or me, for that matter. Man that hit the spot.

It was much-needed too, after taking granny shopping this morning. Quite how a 20-minute grocery run managed to take two and a half hours I still have NO idea. It's like her mutant power or something. Walking extra-slow and whining the entire way. I dunno, I was about ready to throttle her by the end of the morning so I figured that it was a well-earned Kentucky-break.

And now that it's mostly digested I shall attempt to ameliorate the effects somewhat by being a good girl and working out a bit... like I would have done much earlier in the day if I hadn't been shopping and devouring chicken.

Mmmm... ckicken...


I swear KFC are putting something addictive in that crispy coating... o_o

Other things... you know, there's a guy by the exit at Safeways, who's trying to sell people double glazing. This is not an unusual phenomenon.
He does, however, look almosy EXACTLY like the boywonder, even down to the ponytail and beard.

It's actually quite creepy and I keep meaning to tell him so but I really don't think he'd care.
