*ugh* One of those days where every chore is an endless slog... Though work wasn't too bad this morning, even if I did have to scold the grandmaternal one not to keep doing housework before I get there. Because ironically not only does it make my job harder, but she's really not supposed to be doing it right now. (She has cellulitis, she's supposed to be keeping her feet up, but noooo...)

Anyway, we brow-beat her into staying home and did the grocery shopping for her. Though she now has about 20 million cartons of milk because she's still obsessed with the stuff.

Aside from that, it's all the same ol' same ol'...

Dog went for the final set of his vaccinations today, and the cat went for the first of hers. The vet declared Spam to be around 6-7 years old, definitely female, probably spayed otherwise we'd most likely have had kittens by now, and getting a little bit tubby like most every animal that winds up in this house.
So as no one can figure when she was last vaccinated they can't booster so had to start again from scratch.
Apparently she took it all in good part, and really quite likes her kitty carry box. So that's all good.

I have a feeling today's going to be a slow news day. After yesterday's link-o-palooza I'm not sue I have anything else exciting to share.

So instead I shall go get some lunch, I think.

I have a sudden desire for toast.

This amuses me plenty.

Many a visitor to New York's Museum of Modern Art has probably thought, "I could do that."

A British graffiti artist who goes by the name "Banksy" went one step further, by smuggling in his own picture of a soup can and hanging it on a wall, where it stayed for more than three days earlier this month before anybody noticed.

You can see the art that got smuggled in to 4 of NY's museums Here

I have a vague recollection of the last time he did something along those same lines in Europe.
It amused me quite a lot then too.

El's cellphoto challenge is up now Here

Carrot and Lightbulb were her topics. And there's a bunch of other random snapshots too, not even vaguely related to the original topic of the cellphoto challenge, but the sheep is kinda cute ;p

El takes the prize for fastest cellphoto challenge response EVAH, with her 45 second reply to "Dark and Comb" See it Here.

In other news, I have been inspired this evening and have come up with something surprisingly effective for my latest Cellphoto Challenge. (Mirror and Water, for those who are keeping track) The photo is taken, but it actually deserves some really good waffle this time around so it'll get posted just as soon as I can wrap my brain around the psychobabbling process.
