Cellphoto Challenge #1

In this case, part of a Maruchan instant lunch pot among overturned outdoor cafe chairs. You see? You see how that works? See, food, barely intruding upon the shapes and lines created by the main focus of the piece, the cafe chairs themselves, in a study of shade and the impact of negative space wherein the subject becomes abstracted down to merely form without function in a post-post-modern ironic twist, yet with that hinted reminder of their more mundane purpose barely imposing int-...

elouesa, do we get a bonus for attempting to justify this project? Cause if not I really have to knock that art college knee-jerk habit back into check...
Man, I was way too good at BSing my way through image analysis projects.
It was all that practice BSing my way through Eng Lit.
On a side note, the weather sucks again today in a depressingly monotone grey kind of a way. Which is why this photo is not as sparkly as it could have been if there was, you know, some form of light beyond ambient blah.
...In retrospect I probably should have taken a torch for some spotlighting and highlights, but that would denote actual planning as opposed to wandering round with a pot noodle and a cellphone, looking for something mildly interesting to photograph. ;p
So now you all gotta' go poke El for her candle and coffee mug challenge.

And new contender View: Something American and a photo frame.
Though as View has no cellphone she's using digicam on lowest setting and sans flash and if any collectors ask, then we'll lie and pretend it's a really cool looking cameraphone that plays MP3s and doesn't make any calls...
