*looks around her super-quiet journal today*

Super-quiet, indeed. I've been in'tother room, watching the DVDs I got from Ayo. *has Hugh overload*

*is dead from GUH*

I have to mail stuff tomorrow... and I have to put clean sheets on the bed so I can sleep tonight... and I have to do my laundry (the rest of it, some of it's already done) and I have to... do other stuff... but I don't remember what that was cause my brain's still all dead from the *GUH*

*siiigh*

Hmm, JR seems to think Dean has a little doohickey whatsit for fixing scratched disks. It's only a small scratch so I might see if I can get the boy to take it round some evening and get Dean to fix it... *wonders if Dean's bribeable with cake*

*figures he probably is purely by dint of being male*

I want to know why men are so susceptible to bribery-by-cake. And I want to know why Sunday is always immediately followed by Monday. Can't time and space take a break and follow a Sunday with another Saturday, just this once? I can't believe the weekend's over again. It's like no sooner do you get your feet under you and start to catch your breath than you're off again running through another week. One that's oddly indistinguishable from the week before.

Granny called late yesterday evening because she couldn't find the recycling bins outside and wanted to know where I moved them to.
I hadn't moved them anywhere, but aparently they weren't there because there was only space where they used to be.
I mean WTF? They don't up and move by themselves and they can't have blow away because there's nowhere for them to blow TO... but she couldn't find them, and apparently it was dark and she didn't think to turn on the outside light and because she couldn't SEE them, that meant they weren't there.

I told her to wait until the morning and look again. *facepalm*

Why call at 10 in the evening to tell me you can't find the bins, when you already know there's nothing I can do, and will be around on Monday morning anyway? I mean why?

It's GrannyLogic! That's why.

Time and space, damn you, I demand another Saturday!

I'm inches away from whiling away the evening watching Erskineville Kings.

Now the question is, do I submit to that impulse knowing that by the end I'll be half-dead with the angsty!brooding, or do I go the total other way, and go watch Paperback Hero because it's soft and fluffy and less likely to make me spend the entire evening squeaking at the TV.

Or maybe I'll just admit defeat and stare at screencaps of the Farmer's Bounty scene in K&L and freely admit that that particular costume really does something to me... )
