Daily roundup, cause I keep getting dragged away

Urk, so little time to snatch online today...

So, run... run, don't walk to khakigrrl's journal where you can download as yet unreleased Deleted scenes! from the X2 DVD... though the Wolvie in the kitchen one seems identical to the version I saw in the cinema, but *eh* it's all good. :D


Went to Leicester and picked me up next year's X2 calendar. It doesn't have enough Wolvie pictures in and I'm going to vaguely attempt to hunt down the X-men comic calendar at some point too (if and when I see it), but this is good for a starting point. :D
And it has that realy lovely pic in the vest with the blood on his shoulders... *guhthud*
Oh and picked up my comics. At present only Ulti 36 and Wolvie/Spidey 3. Wolvie 4 is listed for next week *rolls eyes at lagging imports*
Snikt #4 is still AWOL though lord knows the releases always get screwed around a lot. It's probably gone the way of Elektra/Wolvie 3. Lost in the warehouse somewhere behind the ark.
I can't say as I'm terribly worried though. The fact that it was DUE out some weeks ago doesn't actually mean it has actually even BEEN out. Plus I don't terribly care for the story or the art, I just want it for the sake of completion. :D

Was gonna' buy a CD or something but couldn't see anything I wanted, so I just settled for some comic bags and plodded on home.


So the maternal unit is going through a weird budgetry thing right now. We've finally sold the other house so she's paid off all the big-assed credit card bills (and when I say big-assed, I MEAN big-assed) and now she's determind to cut our, admittedly, extravegant spending.
So she's found herself a new Saturday hobby and that is Market Shopping.
Yes, she went to the Saturday town market, something she swore she would never have time to bother doing, and got oodles and oodles of stuff all for like... 5p
(We'll be eating grapes forever though I think... she got a bit carried away with the bargains and got a while freaking crate of them for like 2 pounds or something)
Strawberries too... I thnk we'll have to palm some of them off to people before we all die of soft-fruit overdose.


But after all that's said and done... *massages temples* I have a headache.
Need more sleep, I think and I really don't want to work tomorrow. I mean I really, really don't. :( *cries*

I have that sluggish, exhausted feeling that makes you just want to lie on the sofa and doze all weekend.

Actually that doesn't sound like too bad an idea...

Eeugh, headach still lingering. Gonna' lie down for a bit I think. One of these days I'm going to train myself not to dehydrate when I go out.
Actually it's partly that and partly the funky weather. Sky was ominous and steely grey over leicester, and the wind was a little close to the chilly side of cool, but it was so damn humid in the city... >.<
I'm ashamed to say I think I sweated like a pig. *blech*
