So I'm sitting here waiting for the maternal one to call and tell me she's finished work early so she can go and take granny to the hospital at 4 thus relieving me of that task...
It's not gonna' happen, but I can hope.

I think I'm gonna' have to go somewhere and get something carbonated to drink. it's something about this weather. Only carbonated really hits the thirsty spot.

But I also only have a twenty, and the corner shop is not going to like giving change for that on a single bottle of Cola. I think I'm going to have to go to Safeways again which involves, you know, like... walking and stuff.

*is lazy*

The only carbonated thing we have in-house is strongbow and somehow I don't think "Sorry, I can't take you to the hospital because I'm DRUNK!" is going to go down well.

Not that it isn't tempting mindyou...

Anyway, yes... mum just called, saying she should be getting out of work early enough to take granny to the hospital, thus saving me from that particular duty.


And K&BW are bringing me some cola on their way round.

...so I have nothing to complain about which is why this post is so short.
